The paper mainly studied the relationship among five dimensions of leadership behaviors which were challenging the process, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, modeling the way and encouraging the heart, team identification, and team citizenship behavior in tourism planning teams in china. It discussed the moderated role of team identification between five dimensions of leadership behaviors and team citizenship behavior.There were three stages in the paper. First of all, the author proposed a basic theoretical model and hypotheses through literature review. Secondly, the questionnaires were ascertained by an interview and a small sized pre-tested. Finally, data were collected among 70 tourism planning teams in China using questionnaires. The theoretical model and hypothesis had been analyzed empirically by the software of SPSS 13.0. Most of the hypothesis were supported in the results and the main results were showed as follows:1. The five dimensions of leadership practices index were valid and they were challenging the process, inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, modeling the way and encouraging the heart. Among the five dimensions of leadership behaviors, challenging the process, inspiring a shared vision, and encouraging the heart have signitive positive impact on TCB, while the relations of enabling others to act-TCB and modeling the way-TCB are not signitive.2. Team identification moderated well in the relation of leadership behavior and team citizenship behavior, including the relations of challenging the process-TCB, inspiring a shared vision-TCB, enabling others to act-TCB, modeling the way-TCB and encouraging the heart-TCB.3. TCB has significant positive impact on team performance.The paper discussed the research findings and gave some explainations to the results and presented some practice suggestions and pointed out the innovations and the disadvantages of the research and then put forward to the future research at last.
