Dongting Lake Tourism Cooperation

In recent years, with the continuous increase of the tourism industry in the world scope and its increasing importance in the growth of our national economic development, the regional tourism cooperation has become the hotspot of the development of the domestic tourism economy. Via regional tourism cooperation we can realize complementing of advantages, reduction of redundant construction, and avoid vicious competition. It is a potent approach to reach an open market and overcome monopolization which can get a better effect in accumulation and radiation. And it is a potent approach to promote the tourism developing in a health and persistent way. Via the regional tourism cooperation, an efficient allocation of the resource can be achieved; and the new trend of diversified demands of the tourism demands can be met; the competing power of the tourism industry can be improved. Thus, the cooperation of regional tourisms receive a wide attention from the government, tourism industry and academic world.This study is mainly a preliminary study based on the existing studies of the regional tourism cooperation in the ring of the Dong-ting Lake. It mainly studied the basis and conditions of the coordination and gave out some propositions on the approaches of the regional tourism cooperation in the ring of Dong-ting Lake.The article is divided into four parts.The first part includes the definition of the scope of the ring of the Dong-ting Lake area and the main research results of the tourism development. expounding the meaning of tourism cooperation in the ring dong-ting lake and introducing methods of research and basic theory of research, mainly makes introduce on the pratise of both abroad and domestic tourism cooperation, discusses the elementary conceptions, the background of the appearance of the cooperation, hoping to settle a theory and practical base for the tourism cooperation in the ring of the Dong-ting Lake.The second part mainly makes analyses the situation and existing problems dong-ting lake in developing tourism.The third part makes a relatively full-scale discuss on the regional relation, locating condition, traffic status, tourism resources, and the objects of the tourism developing, explains the reason why these three regions must strengthen their regional cooperation in the present background, discuses the objects and the basic principle on the regional tourism cooperation from a macro-scope level; and establish a basic frame for the cooperation, makes quantitative analysis about the tourist market of dong-ting lake.The stress of the forth part is to suggest cooperating steps and potent ways of the regional tourism cooperation at current times to guarantee a success in the ring of the Dong-ting Lake.The regional tourism cooperation is a very big systems engineering which not only concerns the economical system of a nation and the economical policy of a regional, but also concerns many phases such as the profit distribution of each cooperation members. There are still many problems to be discussed to gain a successful cooperation.
