Automobile Industry Cluster Strategy Based On Supply Chain Collaboration Research

According to the Auto development all over the world, industry cluster is the inevitable trend. Industry cluster is the centralization among all the supply chain (SC) companies geographically, so the supply chain collaboration (SCC) could enhance the industry cluster and realize scale economy through optimizing resource and sharing information. During the passed 20 years, shanghai auto industry has grown into basic industry cluster, with consummated supply chain, but the supply chain collaboration is not functional enough. Based on the current situation analysis, this paper makes the supply chain collaboration comparison in industry cluster between shanghai and foreign countries, to discuss the strategy and methods for shanghai auto industry cluster competitiveness improvement.This article analysis the current situation of shanghai supply chain and industry cluster, research SAIC with DEA theory, make comparison in industry cluster between shanghai and foreign countries, to find the weakness of shanghai auto industry, especially for the lower information technology application, the lack of brands and technology, the shortage of multi-trust, and poor resource sharing. Based on this, this paper raises the strategy and methods to improve and solve the problems above, including increasing the supply chain competitiveness, enhancing the supply chain collaboration, establishing E-SCC platform, improve the multi-trust and so on.Industry cluster has closed connection with the supply chain collaboration development. On the one hand, industry cluster could enhance the connection among the supply chain companies geographically, on the other hand, supply chain collaboration could improve the multi-cooperation and resource sharing, push forward the industry cluster development. To achieve the supply chain collaboration goals, the competitiveness of SC is the first condition, multi-trust is the basement, process collaboration is the methods and information technology is the important too. So shanghai should focus on the above 4 parts to achieve the supply chain collaboration goals, driving the development of shanghai auto industry cluster.
