| As the China Post monopoly in the courier industry was broken, China Post Express faces increasing competition, which forced China to hold the traditional postal service delivery speed at the same time, need to actively develop new services. Meanwhile, the domestic TV shopping and online shopping's booming provides a new market for postal delivery.The COD(cash on delivery) management system of Hunan EMS is developed for helping major clients(for example the Happigo of Hunan TV) to collect the cash of deliveries and provide them related information. This paper describes the information system's software architecture, software functions and business processes, and accordingly put forward the application performance requirements. With the rapid development of the business, a software performance test is needed.This paper introduces the concept of software performance testing and classification. After analysis and comparison of several currently popular automated testing tools, LoadRunner which from Mercury Interactive corporation is decided to be the performance testing tool for the COD management system of Hunan EMS This paper also describes the needs to know about LoadRunner several technical points, including the choice of script protocol, the transaction definition, the concept of rendezvous, the variable parameter settings, the use of correlation and the methods of creating scenario.Described in detail within the implementation of performance test on the COD management system of Hunan EMS, including the testing environment set up, test planning, test case design, test script development, test execution and analysis of test results, and thus the test results are obtained. |
