Objective: To evaluate diagnostic value of early rapid measurements of Heart-type Fatty Acid Binding Protein (H-FABP) and the Clinical classification guidance, when Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS). Methods: We studied 115 consecutive patients (34 women, 66 men; mean age 61.6 years) of ACS an d chest pain lasting <6 h before admission,use forward-looking research methods. In patients attending the emergency department, We measured serum H-FABP with CardioDetect (H-FABP Diagnostic Kit), according to ACC/AHA'diagnose criteria. Results: When AMI, Sensitivity is 0.847458, Specificity is 0.857142, Positive likelihood ratio is 5.93217, Negative likelihood ratio is 0.177966, Youden's index= 0.7046, Precision is 0.852174, Kappa is 0.704281;When NSTEMI, Sensitivity is 1, Specificity is 0.553398, Positive likelihood ratio is 2.23913, Negative likelihood ratio is 0, Youden's index=0.553398, Precision is 0.6, Kappa is 0.205466 Conclusion: The H-FABP seems to have some positive value in diagnosing AMI and ACS categories, especially in its early phase. |
