Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of computer-assisted versus conventional for total hip resurfacing replacement arthroplasty, Methods:Randomized controlled trials (RCTs ) and clinical controlled trials (CCTs ) were identified from MEDLINE (1995-2009.9) , EMBASE (1995~2009.9) , CBM disc (1995 -2009.9) . We handsearched RCTs and CCTs.RCTs and CCTs were included.Data were extracted by two reviewers with designed extraction form.RevMan 4.2.8 software was used for data analysis. Results:Four RCTs were included. The combined results of meta-analysis showed that compared with conventional,computer-assisted can reduce the operative blood loss[WMD=44.6,95% Cl(4.95,84.25),P=0.03],can not reduce the time of operation [WMD=-17.20, 95%,Cl(-24.85,-9.56), P<0.05],but SNA[WMD=1.41,95%Cl(-3.98,6.80), P=0.61] and NSA [WMD=0.06,95%Cl(-2.26,2.38),P=0.96] have no diffence. Conclusions:Compared with conventional,computer-assisted can reduce the operative blood loss, but can not reduce the time of operation, there are no diffences in SNA and NSA between conventional and computer-assisted.Because of lack of enough evidences,we can not conclude that Conclusions are all right.More high-quality trials with large sample are proposed.
