| ObjectiveTrace element is a basic material which forms the human life,and it is very essential in organism development,life activity and procreation etc.Although the levels of trace element are less in human body,but it contributes a lot to human health including influencing on the energy transformation,hormone formation,brain memory,visual acuity,cell division,various kinds of supersession,endocrine and immunity of the organism etc.When a certain kind of trace element is insufficiently or excessively ingested,it will cause the organism biological function obstacle and exert a bad influence on the human body.It has already been verified that the trace element relates to a lot of diseases by animal experiment,epidemiological investigation and clinical observation,The child is growing individual,and is relatively sensitive to the change of the external environment.The research is aim to study the levels of trace element such as iron,zinc,calcium,magnesium,copper, lead in the blood of the children between the infant and 15 years old from June in 2004 to June in 2006 in Zhengzhou,the relations among these trace elements,and the influences of these trace element on children's early health and stunt.At last,the results of the paper can offer scientific basis for the study on children's health care and the integrated control measures of relevant diseases.MethodsThe study included 1300 physical examination and clinic cases of the children between the infant and 15 years old from June in 2004 to June in 2006 in Zhengzhou Maternal and Child Care Service Centre.We gather the demographic characteristic including research object of the data(name,sex,date of birth,age, residence),personal development information(height,eyesight,IQ,learning, development and nutrition),personal health condition(Repeated infection of the respiratory tract,rickets,hyperactivity and anaemia) and diet.The levels of rion, zinc,calcium,magnesium,copper,plumbous in chil dren's blood was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry.The data of results were analysed by SPSS 12.0.Results1.The average levels of Fe,Zn,Ca,Mg,Cu and Pb of children in Zhengzhou are within the normal range.The levels of Fe,Zn,Ca,Mg and Cu are 9.17±0.08μmol/L, 76.53±4.21μmol/L;1.75±0.55mmol/L,1.50±0.06 mmol/L;Cu was 20.23±1.37μmol/L and 64.79±12.63μg/L,respectively.The boy's level of Pb is higher than girl's.The levels of Fe,Zn,Pb of baby's group are lower than other age groups significangly(P<0.01).2.The children is lack of trace elements with Ca(24.46%of scarce rate),Fe(21.77%) and Zn(19.69%).The Lead Poisoning rate of chlilren in Zhengzhou is up to 19.08%. The scarce rate of Mg and Cu are 1.46%and 3.85%.The scarce rate of boy's Zn and examines rate of Lead Poisoning are higher than the girl's(P<0.01).3.Interactions exist among the trace element of children in Zhengzhou,such as Fe and Cu,Zn and Cu,Fe,Zn,Ca and Pb.The levels of Fe,Zn and Ca in children with Lead Poisoning are lower than of those of control group(P<0.01). 4.The ill rates of IDA,RRI and Low Vision are 20.07%,23.36%and 7.27%,and there are no significance between different age groups(P>0.05).The ill rate of ADHD is 6.29%,and the hyperactivity takes place in the group of preschool and group of school age high.The ill rate of Rickets is 6.11%,and it ofte takes place in baby's group,infant's group and preschool group high.The poisonning rate of Lead in school age group is highest,the preschool group takes second place,infant's group is slightly low,and baby's group is the lowest.5.The levels of Zn and Ca of Shortstature children's group,the Zn and Fe levels of Rickets children's group,the levels of Zn,Fe and Ca of RRI group,the levels of Zn and Cu of ADHD,the levels ofFe,Zn and Cu in IDA and Zn level in the Low Vision children are lower than control group significanly(P<0.05).The BPb levels of Shortstature children's group,Rickets children's group,RRI group,ADHD,IDA and mental retardation children are higher than those of the control group's level significantly(P<0.01).Conclusions1.Ca,Fe and Zn are the mainly deficicent trace element of children including in the study.Lead Poisoning rate of the Children is up to 19.08%.The scarce rate of Zn and examines rate of Lead Poisoning of boy are higher than the girl'.The rates of Fe,Zn and Ca in Lead Poisoning group are lower than control group significantly.2.There are associations between the number of RRI,ADHD,IDA,Shortstature children and Rickets children in Zhengzhou and the lower level of Zn and the higher level of Pb.The mental retardation of children has relation with the higher level of Pb,and the level of Zn of Low Vision level group is lower than the control group.3.The levels of Fe in IDA,RRI,and Rickets children are lower than those of the control roup significantly,and the levels of Ca in Shortstature and RRI children's group are lower than control group,too. |
