Objective1.We search for the causes and methods of diagnosis of lower limb deep vein thrombosis to provide a reasonable basis for forensic identification.2.We search for the complications and prognosis of lower limb deep vein thrombosis to provide for the forensic evaluation and disability compensation advice.Subjects and MethodsWe analysis the clinical data of 123 patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis from February 2006 to October 2009 in the Fifth Affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University.ResultsLower limb deep vein thrombosis can occur from youth to old age. It can be seen that a peak is reached in the 50-60 age group. Symptoms of the patients with lower extremity deep venous thrombosis vary with the location, age, physical condition and other factors. The left side of the limb extremity deep venous thrombosis is common than the right side.,and peripheral lesions is more common. Spontaneous DVT is seen more commonly in the left lower extremity. DVT with risk factors can occur in both sides of limb equally. Ultrasound examination can accurately diagnose lower extremity proximal DVT. The patients treated within one week have a better efficacy than the week after the onset. Combined anticoagulant with thrombolytic therapy have a more quick relief of symptoms than solel anticoagulant. But the two methods have no difference in long-term effect. Combined anticoagulant-thrombolytic therapy with a long-term warfarin anticoagulation can reduce pulmo, nary embolism and deep vein thrombosis in the early stage of DVT. ConclusionTrauma, surgery, prolonged bed rest is a major cause of DVT, Color Doppler ultrasound is a definite diagnosis of lower limb DVT. Pulmonary embolism (PE) is the most severe complication of lower limb DVT, and it has a high mortality. Deep Vein Thrombosis Syndrome (PTS) is the most serious long-term complications of acute deep vein thrombosis, It causes limb fall in a state of disuse. The above aspects and links should be considered in the forensic identification.
