| The thesis surveyed the advancement made in TCM and Western medicine on Acne vulgaris.We verified the curative effect of Pingcuo decoction, that was screened out by my tutor, professor Wang Yuxi, based on his long experience in treating Acne vulgaris. The decoction has such functions as clearing away stomach-heat and releasing stagnated lung-energy, cooling blood and removing toxic materials.The samples were collected from 74 cases of Acne vulgaris, among which 38 cases were treated with Pingcuo decoction as treatment group, and 36 cases were treated with Tanshinone as compared group.We observed their changes of skin lesion,the。sebum excretion rate and the quality of life score to evaluate the curative effect.The research showed that the total effective rate in treatment group was 92.1%, which is superior to that of compared group(p<0.05). As a result, Pingcuo decoction is a satisfied choice to treat Acne vulgaris. |
