| The origin and development of "preventive treatment of disease" thought has a long history in Traditional Chinese Medicine. As early as over 2,000 years ago, the book "Inner Canon of the Yellow Emperor" has described it very precisely. It includes mainly "prevention before disease onset" and "preventing disease from exacerbating" two parts. The preventive treatment theory is a sort of high summarization of Preventive Medicine of Chinese Traditional medicine. Even if in a highly modernized world today, it has a significant meaning both in the field of prevention and diagnosis and give treatment in diseases.Nowadays tumor has become a serious disease which plays a role of killer which taking peoples'lives. In many countries and areas the tumor Morbidity is increasing very rapidly, It has become number one killer for human life. Although it is a highly modernized world, and there are many therapeutic tools on curing the tumor:no matter it is used alone or combined with others, it is not functioning very well and no as effective as people expected.Since the means of Modern Medicine is not so good as to cure the tumor, and many tumor patients are still suffering from it, the idea of prevention first, and using preventing measures effectively while not become ill has become consensus in modern medical community. So to develop the researcher work on the Chinese oncology based on the idea of the "preventive treatment of disease" of Chinese Traditional Medicine has the same similar satisfactory results but with different approaches as tertiary prevention in western medicine. |
