Clinical Study On Elderly Copd With Pulmonary Interstitial Fibrosis Treated By Bushenhuoxue

Objective:The purpose of this paper is observing and discussing the specialty of elderly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis and its treatment with TCM from theoretical and clinical aspect systematically, finding new medicine for COPD with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, and discussing the meliorative mechanism of this disease. Methods:60 elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with pulmonary fibrosis were randomly divided into two groups, one group was given oral administration of Bu Shen Huo Xue Fang addition or subtraction (treatment group) and another group was given TMP (Chuanqing) (control group), both treat 3 months. Then observe the changes before and after treatment in patients with symptoms, signs and laboratory indicators. Results:Compared with the control group, treatment group significantly lower CRP score (P<0.05), significantly improved blood flow change indicators (P<0.05). It proves that Bushenhuoxue method can significantly improve patients'symptoms and signs. There are no significant differences between both the two groups and before and after treatment in improving the imaging score and physical score(P> 0.05). Before and after treatment, in the treatment group, IgA, IgG have no difference (P>0.05). IgM increased after treatment (P<0.05). IgG, IgA, IgM in the control group after treatment, have no significant difference. Comparing the two groups, IgG, IgA have meaningless differences, IgM has significant difference (P<0.05). Showing us that Bu Shen Huo Xue Fang can decrease the IgM which is increasing with the age, regulation changes of the immune globulin, improve immune function in patients. Before and after treatment, T cell subsets of both treatment group and control group have no significantly difference. Conclusion:The disease having the nature of the Ben Xu Biao Shi, kidney deficiency and blood stasis is the main pathogenesis of elderly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis. Bushen huoxue fang can make significant improvement in elderly chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with pulmonary interstitial fibrosis in patients with symptoms and signs.
