Summer-season Tomato Festival And Synergy Cultivated Technology Demonstration And Promotion

Key technologies of saving cost and raise efficiency of tomato cultivation in off-season were researched through the period of sowing,selection of species,propagation manners,planting density,fertilization techniques,pruning and disease control.The results were as following:In order to get high efficiency,the best sowing periods were from 4.15 to 5.15 at the over 800 meter altitude in Guiyang region.The price of tomato was high and steady.The varieties,such as Stone-308,Stone-138,Baili,were good.They have good quality,bearing transport,long shelf life.They were fit for the markets of Guangdong and Guangxi.These techniques not only significant saved seeds cost,but also improved the yield, they included sowing in a certain density and grafting by a local wild tomato.The output increased and the cost decreased when the tomato was treated by the fertilizer made by ourselves.The planting density of 70 cm×40～50 cm was best in Guiyang region.It was in favor of light transmittance,ventilation and control pest.The costs of seeds,bamboo and pesticides were saved.The output and quality of tomato were increased through the planting manners such as a single-rod pruning and fruit thinning management.The mainly task in plant diseases and insect pests was control late blight and other anti-pest.Some pesticides,such as select xinmengsheng,Mengsasheng,Xixianmaling, were very fit to control late blight.The effect of saving cost and raise efficiency of tomato cultivation in off-season was good when these techniques were used.
