In recent decades, large-span roof structures have an unprecedented development, and been widely used in sports stadiums, convention and exhibition center, the airport terminal and other public structures. With the large-span roof structures to develop in the direction of largely and lightly, the development of structure on increasing the sensitivity of wind load, wind load has become the type of structural design of the main control load. At the same time, on the large-span roof structures, the theory of wind-resistant design is still quite weakly, which has become the bottleneck of constrained the further development of these structures. Therefore, to the large span roof structure, wind-resistant design theory and methods to conduct systematic research, which is a very great theoretical significance and valuable work.This paper used data from wind tunnel test results, and through the ANSYS finite element program and MATLAB programming procedures to make some researches, such as large-span roof structure of wind-induced response and equivalent static method of research and analysis, has made some meaningful conclusions.This paper first briefly described the characteristics of near-earth wind and the current research situation for large-span roof structures of wind-induced vibration analysis and equivalent static wind load study, and then introduced the current application of some of methods for the wind tunnel test respectively, introduced the advantages and disadvantages of different wind tunnel tests.Through ANSYS, analyzed the three experimental models of the modeling, the self-vibration features of large-span roof structures. And then analyze the wind-induced vibration of these structures in the time domain to determine the safety of these models have already been guaranteed whether or not. And then calculated the structures response of the wind-induced in the frequency domain, by Matlab programming. Calculated through used of different modes of the model calculations and analysis, and were considering using modal coupling and modal coupling without considering the impact of their model calculated. For large-span roof structure calculations within the frequency domain, must consider the impact of higher modes, and the modal coupling calculation accuracy for large cross-impact is quite severely.Through the research and analysis of equivalent static wind loads, and through the LRC method and improved method based on LRC method of calculating these models are calculated and analyzed, structural design in engineering obtained some useful conclusions and methods. LRC method is an accurate calculation of equivalent static wind load calculation method, the new method whether can be used in large-span roof, still need research.
