With the rapid development of modern power industry, Large-capacity generating units has become the development trend of power industry. As the generating units with capacity expansion, the power plant are increasingly stringent of steam and water quality requirements. the sodium ion content in the power plant water system is an important parameter, plant water, steam system sodium content quickly and accurately measured, to ensure the safety of power system economic operation is very important.The paper first analyzes the design of sodium ion analyzer, as well as at home and abroad of the importance of sodium and the primary means of measuring the present situation, and then introduces intelligent online sodium ion analyzer's design principles- the direct potential method, Analysis of error in the measurement process and eliminate the causes of method, and detailed design of hardware and software. The papers in the hardware circuit design, selection of high-speed, low-power single-chip ATmega128 as control core, additional design a reliable power supply and reset circuit, and enhance the reliability of the system. Software design of the transplant systemμC/OS-Ⅱ, resolve the traditional systems poor real time, poor scalability of the procedure, and low operational efficiency detects and realize real-time operating system embedded in the sodium ion analyzer for engineering applications .The smart online sodium ion analyzer has been operating at the scene to achieve the power of water, steam system, the exact content of sodium ion monitoring, with high practical value.
