In modern society, people's life and production have close relationship with electricity. With the development of national economy, power electronic products have been widely used in industrial control area, which makes the majority of users have increasingly higher demand on power quality. However, the power quality is polluted more and more seriously recently because of a large number of non-linear loads which are applied in. Therefore, embedded remote monitoring system of power quality is studied and designed in this paper.In order to accomplish the function of the power quality of remote monitoring, dual-CPU system which consists of the ARM and DSP is designed in this paper. The A/D data .acquisition circuit composed of two chips of MAX125, the DSP data processing circuit and ARM peripheral interface circuit are included in this system. Dual-port RAM is adopted to achieve the communication between the ARM and DSP. The RS485 bus network equipped CE-R remote real-time device is used to realize the function of local monitoring. The Ethernet interface is also adopted to achieve the function of remote control. Three related circuit board is designed and debugged, including data acquisition circuit boards, data processing circuit boards, ARM peripheral interface circuit boards.In data sampling, the real-time acquisition of frequency is completed mainly through the software synchronization. The periodic errors existing because of the application of software synchronization are corrected by improved software synchronization. The spectrum of voltage and current signals is analyzed by the traditional FFT algorithm. The window function is studied and designed with the purpose of correcting and improving the phenomenon of the fence effect and spectrum leakage.Finally, the GUI of this system using Qt/Embedded is designed, including the main interface of the remote monitoring of power quality, the parameter display interface, alarming display interface etc, which are all displayed successfully in LCD of the target platform.
