Steel-concrete combined hollow slab is defined as slab which is arranged with certain amount boxes, then form to a grid cavity, so it becomes a combined slab with light height and high bearing capacity. This kind of slab has characteristics such as high hollow ratio and convenient construction. As a result, we can use it in steel structure with large pillar net and heavy load. This paper which is based on a full-scale test studies on its failure mode and bearing capacity.1) In this paper, the floor-slab structure which is widely used in practical engineering is classified. Through analysis and comparison, we can make a conclusion that this kind of combined slab has advantages in increasing space, reducing costs and simplifying construction.2) A combined hollow slab test whose size is 8.65m×8.65m is made in the laboratory. And we study on its internal force distribution, deflection change law, fracture distribution and failure mode under static load.3) Through linear elastic analysis, we study on the internal forces and deflection change of this structure before its cracking. A conclusion can be made that we can approach to actual boundary condition better when the pseudo-plate method and I-shape section theory are considered.4) One quarter concrete mode is established by ANSYS. Through finite element analysis combined with test results, we know that the deformation of this structure is very familiar to the solid plate.5) Summing up experience in the text, we put forward construction technology and points for attention. Besides, lashing method is proposed to solve problems such as anti-floating and localization of this structure.6) Through theoretical analysis, we can conclude that membrane effect imposes great influence to its bearing capacity.7) According to the feature of this hollow floor-slab, concrete wrapping combined beam is proposed. And this kind of beam is proved to be well integrality worked.
