Plate heat exchanger because of the high heat transfer performance, compact structure, has become a very important heat exchanger. In recent years, because of plate heat exchanger research and the structure improvement, the applications of plate heat exchanger have increased widely.Based on brazing plate heat exchanger, to find the suitable heat transfer and pressure drop correlations for the refrigeration system simulation. First of all, fast calculation models of refrigerants'physical properties are given in order to calculate the heat transfer coefficients and pressure drop. In the research of heat transfer and pressure drop, we should calculate the properties of refrigerant on the saturation line. In this paper, the method to calculate the saturated properties of water, CO2 and R22 are proposed.In the research of heat transfer and pressure drop, to use the existing, mature heat transfer and pressure drop correlations of the single-phase flow, the heat transfer coefficients are calculated, based on the Wilson Plot Method.After the calculation of heat transfer correlations of refrigerant side, Reference to the empirical formulas, put forward the revised heat transfer and pressure drop correlation formulas of two-phase flow in plate heat exchangers. The author proposed higher accuracy and appropriate correlations for the refrigeration simulation system under the two-phase evaporation and condensation. It should be useful for the research of plate heat exchanger and the refrigeration simulation system.
