Large photoelectric telescope is the key equipment in space monitoring system. Itplays an important part in the space survey of space satellite and air vehicle. The telescopestructure is complex and the clime temperature is low, on the lens there is formation of dew,which affects the survey mission. The single telescope is one of the most importantcomponents in the space monitoring system, so the analysis and research on thedew-formation has large realistic means. In this thesis, it analyses the temperature field andthe stress field of the telescope. The analysis is based on three-dimensional model.First of all, we use analysis software MSC. PATRAN/NASTRAN to calculate andanalyze by finite element method on the whole telescope. The temperature field iscalculated and the result of is accordance with the experiment data from the laboratory,which proves the accuracy and the reliability of the calculation and the analysis with finiteelement method. By experiment and analysis with finite element method, the thesisproposes the measure for prevention of dew-formation with a layer of polyethylene.Next, from the analysis of the stress field of the telescope we get the main factoraffecting the telescope distortion and stress. This provides the foundation for analysis anddesign of telescopes in the future. By the analyzing and researching of the temperaturefield and the thermal stress on the telescope, we can supply scientific evidence for thedesign, calculation and setting for the same telescopes.
