Fuze is the brain of ammunition. The anticipative function realization of a new concept weapon needs a certain kind of suited fuze technology for it. The research objectof the dissertation-beacon fuze is a kind of new concept fuze technology, and isbrought forward based on the need of soft killing ammunition, which is gradually developed in the recent 20 years.Beacon fuze works in the way of wireless data communication, bases on the fuze technology of radio instruction, in order to realize the control of the optimal explosion height. By the analysis of the soft killing ammunition functionary environment and process, using the mathematics method the soft killing ammunition fuze orientation model is set up based TDOA and GPS.In feasibility analysis, starting with the viewpoint of wireless range measurement techniques and wireless data communication techniques, the design idea of software defined radio technologies and distance measurement with spread spectrum technologies based on FPGA are introduced. According to these, the theory model and designed methods for the beacon fuze are analyzed and put forward. All those establish the base of beacon fuze theory.During the design process of theory machine, according to the technique guide line of carbon fibre bomb, starting off the whole blue print of beacon fuze height measurement system, the software and hardware module design of theory machine is completed.The beacon fuze's feasibility is proved by the theory machine tests results. The performance of the system can achieve soft killing ammunition guide line.
