This thesis introduces the concept of Virtual Instruments, compares the different features of popular projects, discusses the characteristics and problems of present hydraulic system inspecting and testing system, analyses the composition of hydraulic measurement system and the theory of signal analysis, points out the feasibility of the appearance of Virtual Instrument. Based on Lab VIEW developed by America National Instruments Corporation as development software and made use of essential sensor, signal conditioner and data acquisition card. the paper develops Virtual Instruments of multi-channel hydraulic measurement and analysis system. In the system, the function of data acquisition, storage, processing and display adopt modularization program. The signal process function of the software includes these function: digital filter, windowing, auto-correlation function and cross-correlation function, mean and variance; auto-power spectrum, cross-power spectrum. At last, the measurement identification of the developed system is made. The experiment result has proved that the method has good expansibility and high cost performance and be fit for use of engineer.
