Wheel loader is a kind of engineering machine that is widely applied in engineering project Aim to the problems that exist in traditional research way of wheel loader, for example the research cycle is long, the cost is high and the performance test is complex etc, this paper leads virtual prototype technology into research of wheel loader The following research works are completed:1. The basic feature of virtual prototype technology is introduced, major contents and difficulties are pointed out in the paper Author sums up the present research situation of virtual prototyping technology at home and abroad and proves the necessity and significance of applying virtual prototyping technology to research of wheel loader2. According to the theories of modeling and simulation, the mathematical models of the working machanism and hydraulic system of the wheel loader are built and the foundation of simulation research of virtual wheel loader prototype is established3. The 3D modelling method of wheel loader using Pro/E software is researched, the technology on modelling and virtual assembly is sums up, the 3D model is built and interferential test of assembly in Pro/E environment is completed.,4. The connection technology Pro/E and ADAMS is researched, the virtual wheel loader prototype is constructed in ADAMS environment, research of the virtual prototype is completed and its working performances are analyse5.
