With the rapid development of the economy, thousands of construction of engineering projects and utilization of natural resources create lots of exposed slopes and have destroyed it's ecological environment seriously. The exposed slopes can bring about many ecological problems, such as water and soil run off, landslides, mud-rock flows, worsen of microclimate and destruction of biosphere. It is hardly to recover original ecological environment by nature ability itself, and it maybe need a long time. Therefore, it is a critical problem that how to recover the ecological environment of destroyed slopes rapidly and make good use of phytocoenosis to protect the slopes. Vegetation can reinforce slope stability by root reinforcement and achieve protection of water and soil by hydrological effect. In addition, vegetation can purify atmosphere and recover ecological environment by it's own biological function. However, vegetation has some limitations yet, the limited depth of root lead to the limited reinforcement effect. Though vegetation can constrain surface water and soil run off and surface landslides, in deep layer landslides, it's function is relatively limited. At the same time, vegetation can increase the permeation of water, and optimize the environment of ground water supply, and promote the deep layer CWRI. In addition, the limitation of transpiration can not reduce substantially peak groundwater levels in rain process, therefore can not substantially improve the slope stability and prevent deep layer landslides.
