Earth-rock dam because of its many advantages are increasingly becoming the world's fastest-growing in the dam construction,while the actual design and construction of which has gradually formed a gravelly clay used in place of pure clay core wall material as the core wall of earth-rock dam. From the clay and gravel in accordance with a certain proportion of admixture made of gravelly clay or gravelly clay by rolling a natural after the general availability of higher density and strength, low compression,while remain impervious good performance and construction performance,reatly make up for the pure clay core wall of earth dam defects. Because this earth material is a wide range of material particle size distribution and more with the uneven,unstable,non-continuous features,its engineering properties of embankment dams has become an important research project.However,using the gravelly clay material for the core wall in the physical and mechanical aspects of research and analysis is not on a lot of depth of the study and is not very deep,there is no systematic analysis of the theory with practical experience. study and analyze the stability of the state of dam deformation.To do the following work:(1)To analyze the development of earth-rock dam, the advantages of gravelly clay core dams make up for the pure clay as the impermeable material of low intensity existing,compressibility and large defects,reducing the possibility of arching effect occurs,and has good anti-seepage and construction performance,it has strong potential for development.(2)Introduced the earth material classification and each kind of earth nature systematically,the corewall material gradation choice scope,different pellet content earth material fluid plastic limit change rule.(3)Analyzed each kind of item which influence compaction test result each kind of factor and should pay attention,introduced emphatically in the same gradation situation the most going all out density and the most superior moisture content change rule and in the different pellet content, in different fluid plastic limit situation compaction achievement and compaction curve change rule.And obtains the compaction test result by this is to the padding compaction important guide posts.(4)Analyzed the gravelly clay corewall earth stone dam permeability and the intensity characteristic,and unified the concrete project example to analyze the gravelly clay permeability and the angle of friction in the different pellet content and in the fluid plastic limit situation change rule.(5)Analyzed the standard to calculate in a Duncan-model deformation coordinates K,the n value and in the solidifying compressive test the coefficient of consolidation existence question,pointed out that the standard method unreasonable place,proposed in a Duncan-model deformation coordinates K,the n value and in the solidifying compressive test the coefficient of consolidation value's new method-suitable long-base method, and through the actual project earth material experiment, the analysis has contrasted in the standard method and the suitable long-base method value method,the refinement suitable long-base method in a Duncan-model deformation coordinates K,n the value and the solidifying compressive test in the coefficient of consolidation computation concrete method.
