The thickness degree of the rest of the oil had become littler. The height of the water cone became small. The water radius became longer. It becomes harder to water shut-off and increment oil produced became less after the action. It can not continue longer and the effect of the secondly water shut off became worse. Faced with so many problems, developing a high strength and high-temperature water shutoff agent formula had been promoted. A series of interior experiment and research has been carried out about the makeup of formula, the time to convert to gelatin, heat stability testing and so on. And we get the high strength and high-temperature water shutoff agent formula which main part is HB-071. According to the performance assessment, the agent has high performance.The agent was used by multi-step slug in field experiment. Using multi-slug injection pattern, Inject low consistency and low strength agent first and inject high consistency and high strength agent secondly, to make the gel viscosity and the stratum compatibility come true. It enhanced the affection of the measure and reduced dissipating agent.According to the design plan, the agent had been beginning used in field experiment. And 21 wells were measured and all constructions succeeded. All wells are effective. The accumulative total production increase is large, and some wells are holding effective at present. From the field experiment, the property of the agent was proved. And from this, the agent was proved that it's adapted to the development of carbonate rocks oil deposit in later period and the need of pumping well and multi-ponding. Water shutoff design style for oil well in technology was founded, and it can provide strong support to the water shut-off work in the field.
