Aluminium alloy thin wall components are used more and more in aerial engineering, chemical engineering, vehicle engineering, and such other realms. Because of complex structure and low rigidity, they are easy to deform when machining and can't satisfy the machining accuracy and surface quality, so it's a very difficult problem for the aluminium alloy thin wall component machining. This thesis researches on high speed machining technology of complex thin wall component, taking a representative aluminium alloy dense slots thin wall component as research object. The main work is as follows.Firstly, the paper analyses the part's structure and machining characteristic, establishes the single slot's technological process, select the milling cutter for high speed machining, optimizes the path of slot's machining. And then the application of assistant supporting part in thin wall's assembling has been discussed and the special clamping apparatus for the part has been designed in this paper, basing on the component's structure and machining characteristic.Secondly, the law of cutting velocity, cutting feed per tooth and depth of cut's effect on cutting force and surface quality of LF21 aluminium alloy high speed machining has been found basing on the single factor test.Thirdly, the finite element analysis model of high speed machining dense slots thin wall component has been established, and the deforming condition has been analyzed with the ANSYS software. The cutting path has been optimized according to the analysis result, which can shorten the cutting path and reduce the cutting force.Finally, the paper compares the effect of different clamping apparatus and cutting mode on machining quality through the primary machining test of aluminium alloy dense slots thin wall component, which proves the feasibility and correctness of machining technological process and project of clamping apparatus design.
