As the products with good market-potential, 2Na2O.SiO2.5H2O and 1.5Na2O.SiO2.5H2O will have a wide application in the field of petrol exploit and domestic chemical engineering. The standards for these products were established in America in 1985, but at present no report about the products appears in China. So the research and development in this field are of importance to the development of our economy.In order to provide some reference to the form a project about the production of 2Na2O.SiO2.5H2O and 1.5"Na2O.SiO2.5H2O, we firstly review the theory of solution spun crystalline. Based on these theory , we studied the key factors to affect the process, including the ratio of materials, impurities content and removal method, crystal! izer structure, stir speed, feed liquid degree of super saturation and controlled method, discharge temperature and so on. It was shown that through some modification the products with good quality can be made using the solution spun crystalline process, which cost little money and take effect quickly.Based on the experimental research, the technology condition of the synthesis for 2Na2O.SiO2.nH2O and 1.5Na2O.SiO2.5H2O was simulated by computer in this paper. The product modulus and feed constitute of 2Na2O.SiO2.nH2O andl.5 Na2O.SiO2.5H2O were simulated by the method of the third power spline function, and the isoline diagram of the product modulus that was obtained by crystallization under different feed constitute was gained.Several new points of this paper could be summarized as follows :The method of the admixture with solid and liquid sodium hydroxide was used to decrease the affection of the impurity in material and avoid the pre-treat of the industrial material. The rate of temperature-descent that affects the crystallization process was systematically discussed so as to control the super saturation degree by controlling the rate of temperature-descent. Based on the experience of the disposal to the crystallization solution which was cumulated during the process of the production for Na2O.SiO2-nH2O, the experimental research of the cycle for crystallization solution was carried out. Because of the large number of the influencing factors on the quality and yield of the products, the orthogonal experimental design could not be adopted to do the general analysis. Thus, based on the experimental data, the range which was needed in the industrial production was obtained by the simulation in the computer through the theory of the third power spline function.
