The treatment process of camphor-containing and fumaric acid-containing wastewater was investigating in this paper . The suitable treatment process of " pre-treated - UASB - activated sludge " was determined by experiments in laboratory . At the pre-treated process of " microelectrolysis - Fenton reagent oxidation-activated sludge ", the removal rate of COD reached 59.1% , and the biodegradability of the wastewater was improved . In the UASB reactor , the removal rate of COD was 66.85% with the VLR of 2.86 kgCOD/(m3d). Then in the activated sludge reactor , with the VLR of 3.68 kgCOD/(m3 d) , that reached 91.46% . At the basis of these results , the treatment project of mixed organic wastewater was elementary designed .Aiming at the fumaric acid-containing wastewater with biology-inhabiting thiourea , the kinetic of biodegradation was analysed . In the UASB reactor , the results of study indicated that the reaction mechanism tallied with the amended Monod equation . The anaerobic kinetic constants of vmax and K for the wastewater treatment were 0.53~0.54 d-1 and 1.46-1.70 mg/L .In the activated sludge reactor, the results showed that the biodegradation in it follows one-order kinetics . Therefore a valuable suggestion for the optimization of design and operation of the wastewater treatment system was put forward .
