Five kind of intermediates are synthesized with the material of p-iso-Octylphenol and Dicarboxylic acid through two different routines in. After the intermediates are separated and purified, they are analyzed by the following examining methods: TLC,TG,IR,MS and NMR and proved to be the intermediates originally expected. The final products of non-ionic Gemini surfactant can be synthesized by O-alkylating the intermediates with the ethylene oxide. The non-ionic Gemini surfactant has not only more excellent properties compared with conventional single-chain surfactant but also timing effect by measuring its surface tension and dynamic interfacial tension. The synergism system between non-ionic and cationic Gemini surfactant has synergistic effect by measuring its dynamic interfacial tension.The above mentioned research can supply a reliable reference to the practical indusrial application in the future.
