ASP compound flooding is another tertiary oil recovery technology which is based on A/S, A/P and S/P compound floodings. Using the cooperation of displacement agents, it not only upraises the efficiency of displacement oil but also enlarges displacement volume, whereby the percent recovery of raw oil gears up considerably. From the beginning of 1990s to now , in Daqing oilfield men has been working on the research and the oilfield experiment of ASP compound flooding. But in the ASP compound flooding the surfactant(ORS-41) is often imported and its price is very high. Because of the decreasing of the viscosity of the polymer(HPAM), in the ASP system the concentration of HPAM have to be increased. Therefore the cost of the ASP compound flooding rises up. Nowadays, a surfactant(HABS) and a hydrophobically associating polymer are used in Daqing oilfield to form the ASP system. In this compound system the adsorption and retention of the displacement agents is investigated in this paper.Firstly, this paper discussed the theory of adsorption from solution at solid/liquid interfaces and appoched the mechanism and influencing factors of adsorption and retention. Then method of analysising the concentration of displacement agents was established in order to evaluate the adsorbance and retention. Based on this, we determined the adsorbance and retention quantity of displacement agents on the condition of oil layer in Daqing oilfield by the experiments of adsorption and retention. Finally the factors which influenced the adsorption and retention were studied.In the static adsorption experiment, when the four displacement agents(Na2CO3, NaOH, Surfactant and Hydrophobically Associating Polymer) were seperately adsorbed by the four adsorbing agents(GaoLin clay, Montrnorillonite clay, Quartz sand and DaQing well core sand), their adsorbance was determined. Then the four displacement agents' adsorbance on the Daqing well core sand was determined in two compoud systems. At last,we worked out 22 adsorption curves and analysed the characteristics of the curves.Eight cores which were from Daqing oil layer were employed in the experiment of the dynamic retention. In oil cores and dry cores, the saturable retentive quantity and the retentive quantity with 0.3pv of the four displacement agents were determined.In some extent, the experimental data and the conclusion from this paper will contribute on the constitution of ASP system and numerical simulation.
