By summarizing, generalizing and comparing current risk analysis theories and methods research of risk analysis on water supply system is carried out in this magisterial dissertation. The principal contents are described as follows:l. According to the characteristics of water system and the aim of its operation,environmental affection risk of water system is defined.2. Based on the characteristics and nature of the events which colltribute to the formation of risk, the opinion of sorting environmental affection risk into two kinds---sudden environmental affection risk and non-sudden environmental affection risk is developed.3. A principle of how to select risk recognition methods and how to determine therelative parameters, according to the characteristics of water supply system, is presented. The preliminary method to calculate risk economic damage is explored. Essential antidotes to reduce and eliminate risk are presented.4. The presented theories and methods are applied to YEJW water system in Xinjiang to prove their rationalization and advisability.
