Nickel and copper oxide with the low price and long service life characteristics had drew our more attention in the field of environmental chemistry for their special activities.In this paper, γ-Al2O3 was carrier, Ni(NO3)2·6H2O and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O were uesd as raw materials. The mixture is impregnated for 12 h at 25℃, and evaporated to drying in water bath at 80℃, afterwards calcined at high temperature. Finally, Ni O/γ-Al2O3 and Ni O-Cu O/γ-Al2O3 were obtained. These factors,for instance the loaded ion proportion, NTP treatment, and the calcination temperature had been studied systematically in this paper for the influence to the structure and performance in the preparation of samples.The optimum conditions for the synthesis of Ni O/γ-Al2O3 absorbent were determined as follows: the weight percent of Ni O content is 12.5%, the molar ratio of nickel and aluminum is 0.3, the best dispersant is PEG-6000, and the molar ratio is 0.2%. The optimum conditions of Cu O/γ-Al2O3 of the molar ratio of copper and aluminum is 0.6. Both experiments data of Ni O/γ-Al2O3 and Cu O-/γ-Al2O3 were fitted well second-order kinetic equation. And the best load of Cu O of the Ni O-Cu O/γ-Al2O3 is 1.0%. The optimum p H value is 6. The time of plasma treatment is about15 min, discharge power is about 80 W. It was shown that the adsorbents’ adsorption ability have been improved after plasma treatment. Adsorption kinetics data better coincided to the pseudo-second-order model, the Freundlich model offered the best related for the experimental data.By using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry(TG-DTA) and other testing methods, the adsorbents of adsorption by treated plasma have been greatly improved, the stability also enhanced, and that of catalytic activity was increased. Finally, influence of the adsorption temperature and the p H of solution on adsorption capacity were researched, and the optiumum synthesis factors were researched.
