As people of environmental protection consciousness enhancement, fuel of diesel standards are becoming more stringent.In the automotive diesel sulfur content, density, cetane number and the content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons is the starting point to improve the quality of gas oil in recent years. With the implement of the European level five diesel standards also accelerated the pace of gas oil product quality upgrading in China.At present our country some cities have launched the V (equivalent to euro V standard) motor gasoline and diesel standards.This paper designed a 2 million tons/year diesel hydrogenation unit for Dalian Petrochemical Company, feed materials for straight-run are diesel oil, catalytic diesel oil and residue hydro-desulfurization of diesel.The main products of the plant is low sulfur diesel, by-product is dry desulfurized gas.The catalyst adopted the PHF-101 which is special designed for diesel upgrading to Chinese diesel standard Ⅳ and Ⅴ based onthe technical requirement and carried out byChina Petroleum and Chemical Research Institute of Daqing, and CHINAHUANQIU CONTRACTING & ENGINEERING CORP.Liaoning branch design and construction of the diesel hydrogenation unit.At first, this paper analyses the performance index of the diesel fuel, and summarized current diesel oil refining methods, particularly discussed the hydrofining diesel oil in the detail. And the traditional hydrogenation and the liquid phase hydrogenation were compared. And of good catalyst from domestic and abroad are analyzed and compared. After some data were obtained based on the basis of design a process was built and base on it used Aspen HYSYS software to simulate calculation, through the simulation data found that the Hot Low Pressure Separator and the Vacuum Distillation column design were unreasonable, and improved the drawbacks. At last, through the improvement of the equipment and the optimization of some operating parameters, while meet the design requirements, make the design cost reduced 885 ten thousand yuan, and reduce the operation cost after the commencement is 600 ten thousand yuan/year.This design is reliable and technology advanced. In guarantee diesel product quality to achieve the level five standard at the same time reduce the cost of investment, this technology can be used in revamping/expansion of new or application in the same kind of device.
