Oil-displacing agent is a set of all chemicals what has a certain emulsification, dispersion for crude oil to improve the oil recovery ratio, improve the fluid mobility of oil formation. We call them oil-displacing agent in the petroleum industry.Surfactant flooding is an important methods to improve the oil recovery ratio in the tertiary oil recovery, the main way of improve the oil recovery is by adding surfactants in injection water. Improve the related features of oil and water to improve the oil recovery ratio. surfactant flooding can be divided two broad categories, one class is dilute surfactant system contain active water and micellar solution,the other class is strong surfactant system include microemulsion system.Nowaday,the using of surfactant flooding mainly include petroleum sulfonate, petroleum carboxylate, alkyl benzene sulfonate, betaine and biological surface active agent, etc.In this paper, we explore the possibility of synthesis of oil-displacing agent with chemical modification and with six crude type include crude type two, crude type three as raw material. We choose the suitable crude type for the synthesis of petroleum sulfonate according the comparative study of Several kinds of raw material oil physical properties.At the same time, we optimization the operating process conditions of synthesis according a lot of experiment.Finally,we select the crude type three as the raw material.In the study of the application of product performance, the use of petroleum sulfonate products compared with other surfactant to analysis, By measuring the formula in the size of the interfacial tension of oil-water system which is in the changqing oilfield crude oil and formation water get the best formula, the system of interfacial tension below the minimum(≤0.001 m N·m-1)and we carried out Oil displacement experiment with simulation of the core, the experiments show that, in the same displacement condition, as the waterflooding XPS can improve 18.7% and XPSF-Ⅰ can improve 19.4% in the oil recovery ratio.It indicated that XPS has certain practicability and good oil displacement effect as oil-displacing agent.
