Currently, the problem of groundwater pollution had become a serious concern worldwide because of their potential menance for production and construction,especially for human health,which with the phenomenon that groundwater pollution in some areas has reached a very serious level. Therefore, the research for groundwater which including the assessment of current pollutional situation, the prediction of developed direction and appropriate control or purification measures had become an important research topic.To simulative value of groundwater near springs in jinan, this article established a unsteady flow numerical model, which got the spatial and temporal distribution and contaminant transport characteristics of spring groundwater in jinan. this paper assessed the pollutant leakage resulting impact on the groundwater environment in the new project of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, the analysis process of horizontal and vertical dispersion degree was used for the assessment on contaminant transport characteristics. The result of assessment on spring groundwater showed that the convection played a major role and the value of horizontal dispersion degree played little during the horizontal movement process, at the same time, the dispersion played a major role and the value of vertical dispersion degree played more during the vertical movement process. The study results had an important reference for environmental protection and pollution prevention of groundwater near Springs.In this paper, we set different monitoring points in the project area according to the results of numerical simulation, and then set identification and verification to the model according to changes of pollutant concentrations in the monitoring area. the validation results showed that the model had higher accuracy,and had higher prediction guidance. The conceptual model are also used to predict the migration trends of contaminants in groundwater in the next 20 years, the prediction result showed that the migrational direction of pollutants continue to Baotu spring in the next 20 years, and the pollutant concentrations would continue to rise until it reached a critical value, which within the allowable range. These may have severe impacts for surrounding groundwater, especially the environmental pollution. the research also showed that There is a certain relationship between the diffusion speed of pollutants and the exploitation speed of surrounding groundwater,with likely that the amount of groundwater exploitation had a positively correlation with the pollutant dispersion.
