Average reservoir pressure as an important parameter of oil-field development can be used to calculate reserve volume and to estimate characters of reservoir performance. With the ceaseless development of technology, calculation methods are update as well. Under the premise of researching several calculation methods such as MBH,MDH and so on in-depth,several improved methods were described detailed in this paper. Those general methods of calculating average reservoir pressure always rely on build-up data or are restricted to the premise of infinitely large reservoir or need to attain quasi-steady state and longer production time, so error is unavoidable. On basis of those shortcomings in the general methods, this paper provides improved methods, including integration by parts,build-up curve and average reservoir pressure of low permeable sublayer, study gain is as follows roughly:1 Circumstances of bounded boundary and constant pressure boundary were considered simultaneously in integration by parts, which can be applied to mixed boundaries, and the dependence of build-up curve is removed.2 On the basis of MBH, mathematic deduction of build-up curve was carried on, complex calculations were significantly simplified.3 Average reservoir pressure of low permeable sublayer has high precision in processing build-up data.
