The Design And Implementation Of Supply Chain Management On Marykay Company

More and more company realized competition not only happen on surface of each company, most of important it happens on supply chain management of each company on 21 century. So supply chain management has become more and more important for company as a key point help them to win the market and get victory in competition.This paper is based on the background of MaryKay company supply chain management and in deep analysis its supply chain business process and key point of issues. MaryKay is a foreign-invested cosmetic enterprise. It belongs to intermittent manufacturing company. The company culture inherit foreign management concept and it also involved local market background. In order to keep high development at Chinese market and increase improvement of enterprise's core competence, it appears more and more important for the company to integrate company supply chain system, cover its bottleneck and increase enterprise's core competence.This paper is in deep research current status of MaryKay supply chain management, from four core parts to analysis and research. (1)Sales Forecast Module——Base on traditional sales forecast arithmetic, analysis current status MaryKay company sales forecast and impact to the physical supply chain process. Research sales factor which will in deep impact sales forecast. Setup sales forecast module and arithmetic which is suitable to the MaryKay. (2) Dynamic Safety Stock——The impact of safety stock to the enterprise supply chain, which include relationship of safety stock between customer service and controlling of supply chain cost. Introduce classical safety stock arithmetic, base on that, realized MaryKay dynamic safety stock design and implement by using of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. (3) Integrate MaryKay Supply Chain Planning System——Research and realize DRP (Distribution Resource Planning) which is the most key point of integrity MaryKay supply chain planning process. It setup a bridge between top and following supply chain department. It realized balance of company products SKU at each of region distribution center, and it also delivery marketing demand information to the MPS (Master Production Planning) and MRP (Material Resource Planning). In order to realize DRP, designed and implement two majors arithmetic: 1. Forecast Spreading for DRP. 2. Branch Balancing arithmetic. (4) VMI (Vendor Management Inventory)——The significant of VMI for the MaryKay company, base on the standard concept of VMI, designed the VMI process focus on the MaryKay supply chain process.The technique of this paper is based on the background of ERP system. First introduce the all information system of MaryKay company, then lucubrate MaryKay ERP system with all function module and also describe how to realize MaryKay core supply chain process and arithmetic by using of ERP system. This paper introduces how to use Excel formulation program to realize MaryKay sales forecast module.The technique of innovation on this paper which include sales forecast module, dynamic safety stock, DRP forecast spreading and branch balance arithmetic. These arithmetic are not only base on the traditional standard concept arithmetic but also it have practice on the MaryKay company business. This paper is also focus on the supply chain process management and control, such as VMI management control process. The paper not only focus on the ERP system realize the supply chain function and arithmetic but also focus on the supply chain management on how to use ERP system to improve efficient MaryKay business process.
