As the reform development of telecom industry and network convergence, the competition among the telecom enterprises is becoming tougher. Nowadays, Precision Marketing is the new principle of telecom market competition. Knowledge Discovery System is widely used to monitor a company's operation and help companies make informed decisions.But most of the research focused on the local support system, such as Billing System, Customer Relationship Management System,Network management system,Financial System and so on, which could handle a range of business issues, but it is not enough. Knowledge Discovery System of telecom must take on the enterprise business intelligence and cover all data enterprises, and then services in all sectors.This thesis firstly describes the research actualities of KDS, indicate the knowledge discovery techniques, model and architecture which are used in this article through comparative analysis. Next, it describes the development tendency of telecom industry, and indicated that precision marketing is the inevitable choice for telecoms companies. But knowledge discovery system in telecom enterprises exist some shortcomings, particularly in the knowledge management of consuming behavior. So, the concept of Consuming Behavior Knowledge Discovery(CB-KD) is given out with its system frame and implementation process. After that, the thesis discusses the discovery of telecom CB-KD from four angles based on Consuming Behavior Knowledge Discovery System(CB-KDS), including knowledge acquisition, knowledge representation, inference method and standard aggregate of knowledge. In the end, the thesis introduces a real case of lower warning of customer value project in a mobile communication company and illustrates the process of knowledge discovery by the method of CRISP-DM. In this case, the author uses Teradata to conduct data-mining.The thesis is based on a extensive research on CB-KD , and the author is trying to make a valuable study on consumeing behavior knowledge in telecom industry from theory, model construction and application. It's expected that this thesis would have some reference value to promote the application of knowledge management in telecom enterprises.
