With the steady growth of modernization and national economics, engineering project has developed rapidly,and much more overelaborate management of engineering project with the increasing scale.The multi-objective optimization of engineering project has been the focus of community concern, also has been the "bottleneck" of the Multi-objective optimization of engineering project.therefore, there is an urgent need to study multi-objective optimization of engineering projects. This thesis aims to solve multi-objective optimization of engineering project by the use of co-evolutionary algorithms and achieve multi-objective collaborative optimization management of engineering project.Analyzing the disadvantages of traditional multi-objective optimization methods, the author has found its limitations and put forward to the improvement strategies which solve multi-objective optimization of engineering project in terms of co-evolutionary algorithms. In this thesis, a multi-objective optimization equation and the optimal solution model of construction project have been set up based on the qualitative analysis of time limit for a project, cost, and quality. Through the analysis of foundational management synergy and multi-objective evolutionary algorithms, this thesis aims at studying the advantages of co-evolution algorithms, building the basic framework of the competitive and cooperative co-evolutionary algorithm, summarizing the basic framework of co-evolution algorithm. Based on the above mentioned framework, the total objective of engineering project is divided into three sub-objectives-time limit for a project, cost, and quality. Then the three sub-objectives are realized the independent collaborative optimization as well as the sub-populations to achieve the collaborative optimization of multi-objectives of engineering project. At last, combined with engineering examples, time limit for a project, cost and quality are realized multi-objective collaborative optimization to gain the optimal total project objective, to promote the overall benefits of project, to improve our country's engineering project management.This thesis mainly studies the application of co-evolutionary algorithm in multi-objective optimization of engineering project, which is really good for the improvement of our country's project management level, the competitiveness of enterprises and the overall benefits of project as well as the steadily healthy and quick development of building industry.
