Research On Integrated Assessment Of Logistics Parks' Performance

As global economy comes into being and internet and information technique are developing fast, logistics industry is transforming, changing traditional logistics into modern logistics. As fruit of modern logistics industry's development, Logistics Parks plays an important role in promoting the development of logistics industry, the continual development of cities and so on, and it is attracting significant attention from governments.Under the recognition and support of governments, our country's Logistics Parks have achieved great success. However at the same time, a lot of problems exist, such as high rate of vacancy, nonstandard operation of market, lack of criterion of entrance and so on. These problems have negative influence on the economic benefit and social benefit which should be brought by Logistics Parks.How to settle these problems and improve the economic benefit and social benefit brought by Logistics Park is an important issue to boost our national logistics industry. And setting up a systematic and scientific Logistics Park performance-assessment model turns into the important part of the issue.The research is trying to set up an index system for Logistics Park performance-assessment, and apply Illegible Integrated Assessment Method to do a stimulant assessment of Heshan Logistics Park and then analyze the results of the assessment, aiming to give a reference for how to find out the aspect that should be improved to promote the Logistics Parks'benefit.The research adopts approaches of academic and practical analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, demonstration and criterion analysis.The innovative points in the research are following:on the base of Logistics Park' s character, collective effect, and influencing factors, the paper selects 26 assessment indexes which are divided into 6 classes. Thus a reasonable Logistics Parks' performance-assessment index system is built; on the base of analyzing performance of Logistics Parks home and abroad, the paper providing political advice for government.There are issues that deserve further research:firstly, the indexes can be chose by any other more reasonable method; secondly, the assessment method the paper used could be compared with other methods, so as to find out advantages and disadvantages among these different methods.
