Transnational corporations (TNCs) integrate various resources to carry on the integrated innovation activities, and invest on research and development (R&D) in other countries continually. Possessing abundant R&D resources, China attracts TNCs to come in. In this background, TNCs integrated innovation brings huge influences to China's national innovation system (NIS).This dissertation based on the theories of integrated innovation, NIS, TNC and economic evolution, analyzes the mechanism of TNCs affecting NIS, and then emphasizes the influences. For the positive part, TNCs investing on R&D in China brings capital, technology and managing experiences, which impacts bodies, objects and environments. It makes the NIS develop further. For the negative part, on the basis of their own benefits, TNCs integrated innovation activities give birth to crowding-out effects, and moreover, lead to the problems of technological dominant rights and benefits, etc. To some extent, it prevents NIS from development. When recognizing the influences, our nation must put more attention on how to use this opportunity, take effective measures, choose advantages and avoid disadvantages. The dissertation considers that in order to put China's NIS forward, we should strengthen the ability of independent innovation, boost the self-organization path development, promote the knowledge flow, and enhance the environment establishment. |
