Study On Strategy Management Of H.D. Digital Company

The computerizing architectural renderings industry is subordinated to CG (Computer Graphics)industry, and there is a strong similarity on technology with other branches. It provides the conditions for the computerizing architectural graphics companies to expand in other areas of CG industry.the author embarks on the strategy management research of H.D.digital Company.The purpose of the research is Avoiding the threats and using the opportunities.Firstly, based on the above purposes, the author used various strategic management theories,tools and methods to analyse the external environment and the internal conditions of H.D.digital Company.Such as,the PEST method,Porter model,Resource-based theory,Theory of Value Chain,VRIO model, etc.In this step, the dissertation figured out the threats ,opportunities , weaknesses and strengths.Secondly, by means of the matrixes of SPACE and SWOT, the dissertation made the quantitative analysis and a comprehensive evaluation of these key factors. And then several optional strategies which H.D.digital Company can adopt were made out.After referring to the mission and the strategy target of H.D.digital Company,the final strategy mix were made,it is "Two-step" strategy.The first step is the development of3D-architecture roaming animation products,meanwhile,strengthening and expanding the architectural-renderings market share. The second step is Entering the 3D-animation, 3D-games, 3D-industrial modeling, the 3D-film special effects, and other CG fields.Finally, the author gave some suggestions of how to put the strategy into implementation. In the meantime, the author made a strategy evaluation and control mode.
