Nowadays logistics plays a more and more important role in national economy. Traditional logistics aims at pursuing the biggest profit, the increasing and reform of logistics activities have a negative influence on environment. The increasing energy consumption, the white pollution for example has done great harm to city's sustainable development. Therefore how to maintain the logistics sustainable development and implement the scientific outlook on development become a research subject. Green logistics an irresistible general trend.From the standpoint of the international comparison, policy blemish and system design, the paper analyzes the dialectical relation between green logistics and sustainable development by applying the basic theory of logistics course and economics of development and using the methods of questionnaire, case study and quantitative analysis etc. On this basis, the paper corporates the state and quo of Guangzhou, proposes measurements of green logistics development.The paper consists of four parts. From the beginning, the paper introduces the background of emergence of green logistics and the basic idea. Secondly, the paper explains the green logistics system, with an emphasis on the study of green logistics systematic running model based on the theory of product life cycle and recycling economy. Thirdly by introducing the successful practices of green logistics in foreign countries, the paper analyzes the restraining factors to develop Guangzhou green logistics. Finally the paper puts forward some suggestion to promote the development of green logistics in Guangzhou from angels of government policy, system, public environment education and other aspects.
