Application Of The Tax Decision Support System Based On Data Mining

With the popularity of computer and great success of Relational database, all kinds of information management system have been developed at an unprecedented speed and are widely used in all trades and professions. Transaction Processing is found more accurate and effective, accumulated data is increasing exponentially. However, the decision makers are still puzzled by overflowing data and scanty information. As the latest data utilization technology and tool, Data Mining technology prevails and becomes the technique backbone of the decision supporting system.Starting from the development and requirement of the tax decision supporting system, this thesis fully introduces the concept and the application of decision theory and data mining, puts forward the target, realizing procedure and the instructions of establishing tax decision supporting system based on the analysis of information technology to taxation and the theory of Data Mining and Decision Support System.On structure, firstly, the author illustrated the theoretical knowledge of data mining technology and Decision Support System; secondly, the author made the analysis of the necessity of applying Decision Support System in taxation system. Thirdly, the author put forward the methods to solve the current problems with the help of taxation decision support system. Last, the author programmed the structure and the designing principle of the decision support system in detail, gave the demonstration of the positive significance of establishing tax decision supporting system with the example of data analysis platform of Enshi State Administration of Taxation, Hubei province.Major methods applied in this thesis are investigation and the integration of theory with practice. Investigation is mainly applied in the analysis on the current condition of information technology taxation. Integration of theory with practice is mainly applied in defining the target, structure, principal and significance of the decision supporting with respect to operation.Decision Support System has been applied in taxation system of certain areas. However, the establishing theory is not perfect yet, with the passing of time and the improvement of science and technology, the decision supporting is also developing, the integration of data mining and decision supporting becomes the irresistible trend. Currently, there are few thesis centered on the application of data mining in taxation management, this thesis positioned its research direction on the developing taxation decision supporting system, utilized data mining theory to build taxation decision supporting system which provide the most effective guarantee for the accuracy and efficiency of taxation management.
