Research about the top management team has proved that high-level behavioral integration has a positive impact on organization performance. There are numerous factors trigger behavioral integration, of which demographic characteristics are important factors, and their relationship is affected by culture and enterprise background.Based on data from 44 state-owned enterprises, 47 private enterprises and 30 foreign-funded enterprises, this thesis makes comparison study about TMT's demography, behavioral integration and their relationship among three different enterprises. At the end, this thesis also gives a brief analysis of the relationship between behavioral integration and organization performance. The research displays that the three different enterprises show distinct differences in male ratio, education level, team tenure and education heterogeneity. The male ratio of TMT in state-owned prises is higher than in foreign-funded ones, but the education level of TMT in foreign-funded enterprises is higher than in state-owned and private ones. The level of team tenure and education heterogeneity of TMT in state-owned and private enterprises is higher than in foreign-funded enterprises. In terms of behavioral integration, the level of team cooperation and team decision in state-owned enterprises and private enterprises is higher than in foreign-funded enterprises.Besides, demographic factors that affect behavioral integration are different between private and foreign-funded enterprises. In private enterprises, male ration and gender heterogeneity is positive related with team cooperation, and age heterogeneity is negative related with team cooperation and team decision. In foreign-funded enterprises, male ration has a negative relationship with team communication and cooperation; team tenure and education level are negative related with team cooperation. Heterogeneity factores have a negative relationship with behavioral integration. However, TMT demography of state-owned enterprises can not trigger behavioral integration. In addition, behavioral integration has a positive relationship with organization performance, and has more profound impact on long-term performance than short-term performance. In conclusion, this research has made an explorative comparison study about TMT demographic characteristics and behavioral integration among theree different kinds of enterprises, and also has deenpened the understanding of TMT behavioral integration mechanism.
