With the knowledge economical era coming, the capability of managing knowledge teams effectively has become a kind of core competence of enterprises. As the inaugurate activities, the knowledge team makes up of people that they have different knowledge and skill. The enterprises can be acquired the core competitiveness through the innovated work of knowledge teams. There are many research results about the knowledge teams, but few of them related to performance appraisal because of the knowledge teams' characteristics.Based on the background, this thesis thoroughly analyses performance' characteristic of the knowledge team though target, object and subject. The study includes the problems of appraisal system and conflict between appraisal viewpoint and characteristic of the knowledge teams. For the problems of appraisal system, it analyses the index, standard and feedback of appraisal. For the problems of the second, the viewpoints of result, action and ability are not fit the characteristic of the knowledge teams.In order to resolve the problems, the author in view of the knowledge teams' characteristic, designs the system of performance appraisal that consist EVA and BSC. The system includes the appraisal of team and staffs. For the appraisal of team, it composes four sides. There are the ability of team's study, service of customs, produce of operation and status of finance. For the appraisal of staffs, it considers two sides that action and result.Finally, combining the enterprise case, the author brings forward the route, policy advices and approaches to improve the performance of knowledge teams.
