Impact On Regional Industrial Structure And Economy By The Project Of Basin Water Transfer

With the rapid development of basin economy and growth of population, the damage human being done to the environment of the basin and the contradiction among population, resource, environment and development are greater than ever before. In this thesis, based on the objective evaluation on the project of water diversion from Yangtze Rive to Taihu Basin ,we use Hangjiahu Plain as the research background and use the systematic methodlogy to do research on the effect that the project of water diversion from Yangtze Rive to Taihu Basin has done to the industrial structure and economic impact to provide theoretical foundation to the long term operation of the project.The water usage structure and water usage efficiency have direct effect on the water demand. Generally, the water usage structure of industry in Hangjiahu Region is optimized gradually and the water usage efficiency is gradually enhanced. However, the rapid development of economy is making the contradiction between supply and demand more and more obvious, the problem of water resource has become a key factor that has negative effect on the adjustment of industry structure and economic sustainable development. The project of water diversion from Yangtze Rive to Taihu Basin will obviously improve the water environment in Hangjiahu Region, thus promoting the economic sustainable development of the region.
