Positive Study On The Difference Of Regional S&T Development In China

The thesis establishes the analysis frame of the difference of S&T development from studying the spatial difference, researches and expresses the spatial difference and dynamic disequilibrium of China's overall S&T development, analyze and visualize the evolution mode of spatial overall arrangement of S&T in China. Then the thesis made a quantitative analysis of region spatial difference, studies the relation between the disequilibrium of region S&T spatial difference and economic development, tries to seek the possible route of developing regions to accelerate the S&T development and achieve the great-leap-forward development of regional economy. The problem studied emphatically includes the following several respects:(1) The spatial difference and geography charastistic of region S&T in China.(2) The evolution process of spatial difference of region S&T in China.(3) The S&T cluster degree in China.(4) Spatial analysis of the relation between region S&T development and economic development.Firstly, the author studies the spatial difference status of region S&T in China and its development process. When the evalution indicators confirmed, the thesis compared the absolute difference among the Eastern, Mid and Western region, then by calculating the CV and Theil index, finds that there exists great spatial difference in the three regions. And the result of Kernel density distribution shows that the disequilibrium of S&T development amont the provincial regions is outstanding.In chapter 3, the author mainly studies the spatial clustering situation of region S&T development in China. Beijing-Tianjin area, Yangtze River Delta are the core of clustering of region S&T development, and the cluster degree of east coast region is also high, the northwest region in China is the lowest.In chapter 4, the author analyze the match situation of region S&T and economic development. As time goes by, the matching situation is becoming better. Then by building the disposition model of region S&T expenditure, and takes Dalian as an example to analyze the role of S&T development, institutional innovation for economic growth.
