The new pattern of international division of labor and international trade require that the OEM enterprises in our country ought to use the thoughts of industry development of East Asian developed countries and areas (Japan, Korea Republic, Taiwan etc.) for reference sufficiently, seizing the opportunity of industry globalization, promoting OEM enterprises'strategic transformation and realizing the change from the big country to the great country of manufacturing industry in the world. Then what's the transforming direction of OEM enterprises, to develop into ODM in the upriver Value Chains, or develop into ODM in the downriver value chain, or content with things as they are to continue to be the backstage hero? How dose OEM enterprises make their choices? These are the contents this thesis is going to discuss and study.Firstly, this thesis makes a general analysis of the economic backgrounds of OEM enterprises in our country, and makes clear of the necessity of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation, as well as summarizes and evaluates the relevant researches on OEM enterprises' strategic transformation home and abroad. Meanwhile, the related conceptions on OEM enterprises'strategic transformation are explained briefly, and the types of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation are sumed up, also the research scope of this thesis is determined.Secondly, This thesis analyzes the factors that affect the decision of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation, including internal conditional factors and external environmental factors:The former factors refers to the resources and capability which are the decisive factors inside; The latter factors refer to the micro- and macro- environmental facors which can influence OEM enterprises'strategic transformation.Thirdly, an index system is designed as the evaluative standards of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation from the internal conditional factors and external environmental factors. The weight of the index upon OEM enterprises'strategic transformation are detemined by AHP, and the the ways of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation are evaluated by Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation, which provides theoretical basis for the decision of OEM enterprises'strategic transformation.Finally, taking Glanz as an example, this thesis verifies the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation Model of OEM enterprises strategic transformation, and the results indicate that this model has a practical instructional significance on OEM enterprises strategic transformation.
