Along with the tremendous impact of regional development strategy, urban and rural transformation, industrial restructuring and upgrading ofthe consumption structure of residents on the regional land use, land-usechange more rapidly, with the prominent problems of human-landcontradiction and the optimized model of land structure aiming at themaximization of economic benefits. This paper introduces land ecologyto the spatial dimension of land use study, based on the integration ofGeography,Landscape Ecology and Regional Economic theories andmethods, and with the support of Geographic Information System, whichproviding a new way of optimizing the spatial allocation land-use andhaving the research value to some extent.By exemplifying YiYang City, the regional land-use patterndistribution and impact mechanism is studied, in accordance with theresearch ideas which from theory to empirical analysis, fromphenomenon analysis to mechanism study, from system regularityexploring to typical sample zones study. And using the 1:10000 scale landuse map of Yiyang City, statistic data and field survey materials of socialand economic. The study is taken by the integration of landscape matricsanalysis and spatial statistics analysis, quantitative analysis andqualitative analysis, diagrams and data and with the aid of GIS softwaresuch as ArcGis and MapGis and landscape analysis software Fragstatsand other graph-making software. This research shows that the spacialpattern of land-use class-level patches is different with each other inYiyang City. The aggregation and cohesive level of the forestry land, farm land, and unused land is high, and patches of urban and industrialland and rural residential land have scattered distribution with its shapescomplicated. Land use pattern shows a degree of spatial heterogeneity, and the terrestrial gradient, urban and rural gradient and gradient verticalto the transportation lines is prominent. And the main causes of it areterrestrial difference of geographical environment components such astopography, climate, soils, surface water, and natural disasters etc andregional differences of human interference such as urbanization, industrialization, migration and returning farmland for ecology.Taking regional coordinating and urban and rural integration as thebase point, this paper puts forward a spatial optimization model of landuse which sets corridor and nodes as the framework and integratesgradients as the core and combines purpose, with the organic combinationof agricultural production, ecological function and non-agriculturalhuman activities optimization.
