Strategic Transformation Of Resource-Declined Coal Enterprises On Resource-based Theroy

There are numerous resource-declined coal enterprises in China. How these enterprises transform successfully is a serious problem to the coal industry, and is also the key for China's economic development and social stabilization. Based on resource-based theory, combining strategic management theory, sustainable development theory, system engineering theory, the paper roundly analyses status quo and strategic transformation approaches of resource-declined coal enterprises, puts forward"Resources-Strategy-Resources"mode of strategy making, including enterprises'resources analyzing, strategy making and resources developing, and makes case of strategic transformation practice of XuZhou Mining Group. It points out when enterprises making strategic selection must be base themselves on their resources condition, analyse resources roundly, finding out the adaptive strategy that can use resources in the most economic, complete and efficient way. And then obtaining, accumulating and upgrading resources during the course of strategy performing. In this way, enterprises will be in a healthy circle and achieve long-term development. This paper enriches strategy management of the resource-based enterprises and the application of resource-based theory, the most important it gives advices and directions to the enterprises in order to achieve their sustainable development.
